Matt Angeles

Matt Angeles was born where Nebraska met Iowa in South Dakota, and he always kept the engine running.  Moving from Iowa to Minnesota, his musical identity was formed by the prairie lands of the Midwest.  Lands that infected him with the open road, the wide skies, and the need for something to seek.  That seeking became the backbone to the life he lives and the music he produces.  Sounds that document motion, the open road, and the stories of the people and places along the way while always checking the home left behind.  The perfect companion to the open road.  

From the Midwest, to the mountain west, to the Northwest he found confidence in his words and his own path on the guitar.  While his songs were written in Oregon, Peru, Thailand, or Russia, he always knew where they were truly from, and it was finally time to bring these songs back home.  

Matt now resides in Saint Paul, Minnesota and shares his songs in various towns around the midwest.  In 2025, he completed his first record Constantly Here and Gone, and he cannot wait to share it with all of you.  It has the jangle of Wyoming, the independence of Oregon, the roots of Iowa, and the urgency of the Twin Cities.  Take a listen to the single of the same name on all music platforms.  Sign up for his mailing list to hear about upcoming releases and shows.
